Plans for the November 16 event are apparently not yet 'set in stone.'
As President Donald Trump continues to face scrutiny over government spending at his hotels, a U.S. Marine Corps reserve unit stationed in South Florida appears to have been planning yet another event that could profit the U.S. leader, with hopes of holding a gala at Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in November.
The location of the event is clearly listed as Mar-a-Lago on the event page. However, asked for details by thean unidentified Marine at the unit's drill center reportedly told the newspaper that plans for the event were not yet"set in stone." This week, it was revealed that U.S. military personnel spent at least $184,000 on layovers in Scotland at Trump's Turnberry resort located 20 miles from Prestwick Airport.
