Brandon Jacobs, 29, of Harvey, Louisiana, New Orleans, carried out the attack in the car park of a Travelodge on the Westbank Expressway. Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto said the victim, 54-year-old Yolanda Dillon from Marrero, was found stabbed several times inside a vehicle and was taken to hospital where she died.Jacobs was arrested within hours of the stabbing and charged with second-degree murder."His confession basically stated that he woke up yesterday morning and decided he was going to kill someone and decided that was going to be his day," said the sheriff.
