A blowout, as expected!
In a lightly-populated Pauley Pavillion , a shorthanded UCLA Bruins club wholly outclassed visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills for a deeply lopsided X-X exhibition win.
The Bruins started Mack and Will McClendon in their backcourt, Stefanovic at small forward, freshman Ilane Fibleuil at power forward, and redshirt senior Kenneth Nwuba at center. Cal State Dominguez Hills started Jordan Hilstock at the point, Andre Ball and DJ Guest on the wing, Jeremy Dent-Smith at the four, and Jakob Alamudun in the middle.
Nwuba, enjoyed more extended run than usual, made the most of it, showing off some fantastic athleticism and showing no fear in heading to the charity stripe, which is generally a vulnerability for him . At the break, UCLA led Dominguez Hills 46-28. Sebastian Mack was clearly the leader on the floor, thriving both as a scorer and as a passer. To wit, watch him feed redshirt fifth year power forward/center Kenneth Nwuba for this tasty dunk:UCLA led, 46-28, at the half. But that was only a taste of things to come, in terms of the Bruins' utter dominance in the game.
Sebastian Mack enjoyed an absolutely superlative two-way night, which included an epic two-handed block in the second half. He led the team with 23 points, also chipped in seven assists , two rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
