German tennis star Alexander Zverev has had to address domestic abuse allegations after a spectator screamed out during his runner-up speech at the Australian Open.

German tennis star Alexander Zverev has been heckled during the Australian Open final presentation following his straight sets defeat to Italian No.1 Jannik Sinner .

"I believe there are no more accusations. There haven't been for, what, nine months now," he said to the world's journalists. It appeared all too much for Zverev, who came close to securing a second set victory following a tie-breaker. "I'm doing everything I can. I'm working as hard as I ever did. I think I'm doing all the right things off-court," he said.

After just going back-to-back at the Australian Open final, Sinner showed true sportsmanship, as he consoled Zverev in what was a heartwarming moment.
