The parents of Perth footballer Danny Hodgson have provided a positive update on their search for plane tickets as he fights for his life.
Hodgson is fighting for his life in Royal Perth Hospital after he was the victim of a suspected random attack in Perth’s CBD.
Hodgson was taken to hospital for emergency surgery for a number of head injuries after the incident, but his condition worsened the day after the attack due to more severe brain haemorrhaging.Nicola Hodgson, Danny’s mother, announced the positive news regarding their plane tickets on Facebook.“I cannot thank everyone enough who has been involved.“Danny still has a long journey ahead of him but the fact that me and Peter will be by his side through it gives us enormous comfort.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm by Perth detectives on Tuesday in relation to the attack on Hodgson, and is due to appear in Perth Children’s Court on September 22. Mrs Hodgson made a heartbreaking pitch on Tuesday via social media for plane tickets in a post that has been shared more than 7000 times.
