have closed across Britain, and voters have made their choice over which party should form the next government. The 10pm exit poll, which has a good historical record, predicts that the Conservative Party, led by Boris Johnson, will win an 86-seat majority.
The first actual results from Britain’s 650 constituencies will begin trickling in after 11pm. Many more declarations will follow from 1am onwards.
