In Glasgow, one protestor was seen appearing to goad Jewish people about the Holocaust, telling them: 'Don't forget where the Jews were in 1940.' The clip, which appears to have been filmed in Glasgow's Buchanan Street, shows a woman wearing a Palestinian flag as a cape and a black and white keffiyeh - a scarf that has become a symbol of support for Palestinian people.

Shocking aerial footage shows Pro-Palestine supporters becoming extremely hostile towards police at a protest in London today, throwing several objects and pouring water over dozens of officers at Trafalgar Square. It comes despite Met Police issuing a warning that anyone 'with a flag in support of Hamas or any other proscribed terrorist organisation be arrested' during the rallies across the UK today.
'Anyone with a flag in support of Hamas or any other proscribed terrorist organisation will be arrested.The Met added that simply flying the Palestinian flag or supporting the Palestinian people does not constitute a criminal offence, but said 'some situations' in which a flag or banner could be seen as intimidation or intending to cause alarm and distress, in which case it may be a criminal offence.
The Met Police said they had deployed more than 1,000 officers to police the London demonstration amid fears of clashes. As of 5.30pm, seven protesters had been arrested in London including for public order offences and criminal damage. The protests come as Palestinians began a mass exodus from northern Gaza after Israel's military told them to evacuate ahead of an expected ground invasion.An Israeli airstrike on a Palestinian convoy fleeing northern Gaza on a route reportedly approved by the Israeli Defence Force killed as many as 70 people, according to the Palestinian health ministry.At least 2,200 people have been killed in Gaza as Israeli forces retaliate.
