14:35:40Ukraine has handed over 50 prisoners of war to Russia following talks between the two countries. Meanwhile, 52 Ukrainians were released. Andriy Yermak, head of the office of the Ukrainian president, said they included two Azov Regiment fighters, eight police officers and two civilians, as well as other military fighters.
Russia is continuing to prepare for an expected Ukrainian counteroffensive in they key region of Kherson. "The occupiers have decided to close medical institutions in the cities, take away equipment, ambulances, just everything," he said. British military experts have said Russia's claim is a"straight lie" and that the navy would not have the means to carry out such an attack. A military expert has said Russian forces will likely have to withdraw from Kherson - meaning Moscow will lose the largest city under its control.
