UK PM Boris Johnson to hold talks with world leaders on further Russian sanctions
On the funding given to the Ukraine government Mr Johnson said: "While only Putin can fully end the suffering in Ukraine, today's new funding will continue to help those facing the deteriorating humanitarian situation."
In addition, new measures will make it simpler for UK authorities to sanction individuals, providing them with more time to carry out investigations, as well as protection from prohibitive legal costs. And Conservative MP David Davis has tabled an amendment to the bill which would prevent anyone who the government is considering sanctioning from selling or moving assets out of the UK.
