El campeón mundial Argentina visita Lima con la gran incógnita sobre si el astro Lionel Messi jugará el martes ante un Perú desesperado por victorias y goles que no ha conseguido hasta el momento durante las eliminatorias al Mundial 2026.
El técnico argentino Lionel Scaloni mantiene el misterio sobre si Messi descansará o saldrá desde el primer minuto, o lo hará recién en la segunda parte, como ocurrió el jueves ante Paraguay, cuando la albiceleste ganó por 1-0 con un gol de Nicolás Otamendi apenas a cuatro minutos de iniciado el cotejo. “El tema de los récords y la estadística están para que alguna vez se puedan romper, a mí particularmente no me interesa, me interesa que el equipo haga lo que tenga que hacer', dijo el entrenador que nunca ha perdido un encuentro durante las eliminatorias mundialistas. Scaloni recordó que tiene adelante a 'un grupo de grandes jugadores que es muy fácil hacerle entender las cosas y que lo llevan de la mejor manera”.
