Russian President Vladimir Putin's latest actions have been called out by UN General Secretary António Guterres as he issued a warning in the meeting that also saw the Russian Foreign Minister throw accusations at Ukraine and the West before storming out.

In a televised address, he accused the West of engaging in"nuclear blackmail" and repeated suggestions Western nations wanted to"weaken and destroy" his country.
