King Charles III may not be seen to be as much of an icon as his mother Queen Elizabeth II but the new monarch is more known to the public.
The King’s interests are familiar with the most famous being climate change – however, the Royal has pushed back in the past against criticisms his interventions have been too political.
Former UK Prime Minister Sir Tony Blair says King Charles’ interests in the environment and conservation show he is “ahead of his time”. “Being the Prince of Wales through all those years, it’s incredibly difficult to find the right modus operandi and I think he did it really,” he said.
