University of Alabama basketball player one of two charged in shooting death of 23-year-old

The shooting occurred early Sunday morning in Tuscaloosa.

Miles, 21, and Michael Lynn Davis, 20, have reportedly been charged with capital murder after the shooting death of 23-year-old Jamea Jonae Harris.

Darius Miles and Michael Davis are charged with capital murder in a deadly shooting on the Strip in Tuscaloosa on Jan. 15, 2023. The incident reportedly occurred around 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning at the Walk of Champion at Bryant Denny Stadium. On3 reported that the victim was inside of a vehicle on Grace Street and University Boulevard.

It came just hours after Miles was ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury. He was also out at the end of December to deal with a “personal matter,”
