“I think he’s the best receiver in the country,” running back Ta’Zhawn Henry said. “I feel like everybody is sleeping on him.” Adding quality receiver depth has been a familiar theme, and the Cougars appear to be on the right track this offseason with three Power Five pickups via the transfer portal: Samuel Brown , Joseph Manjack IV and Brice Johnson . Brown, who is 6-2 and 197 pounds, had 10 catches for 108 yards in nine career games for the Mountaineers, including seven as a freshman in 2020. Manjack, a star at Tomball Memorial, played in 11 games at USC last season.
