An up-and-coming rock band have certainly had some memorable times in Glasgow.
From getting a free brew from a Scientologist to their van breaking down just 30 minutes before they were due onSpeaking to the Glasgow Times, Adam Young, vocalist and guitarist for the East London trio, said: “Last time we played in the city our van decided to break down like 30 minutes before we were due to go on Broadcast's stage.
“It was like a Saturday night; everyone was out partying, and this table was giving out free cups of tea and I really fancied one. It was a good cup of tea, so fair play.”Despite the commotions during their past visits, the band – which also consists of drummer Cameron Black, and bassist Guus Ter Braak – is looking forward to returning to Glasgow when they play Assai Records in the city centre next month.
It will be the band’s first significant piece of work after releasing a number of singles and two EPs The Sum Of Our Fears and Further Down The Line, since forming in 2019.Speaking on the new material, which consists of 15 tracks, Adam said it is like nothing anyone has heard before.
