In the 10 months since its investing app launched, Brisbane-based fintech Bloom has amassed $1.6 million in funds under management and fresh seed funding.

The founders of Envato and neobank Up have backed Brisbane-based fintech Bloom Impact Investing, as the investing app surpassed $1.6 million in funds under management and 200 customers.of Up co-founder Dominic Pym, and Envato founders Collis and Cyan Ta’eed led the $525,000 seed round.

“All the investments available around me were only restricted to wealthy, sophisticated investors,” Ms Socquet-Clerc toldThe investing app launched in March 2022 and gives retail investors and SMSFs exposure to unlisted green investments such as solar and wind farms. Having previously funded Bloom in its $675,000 pre-seed round, Collis and Cyan Ta’eed returned to co-lead this raise.The fresh capital will be used to hire staff, improve operations and grow the community.
