Alleged mushroom killer Erin Patterson, 49, will return to court on Monday morning for a hearing in the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court. Patterson is currently being held at Melbourne’s Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, after being charged with three counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder over the deaths that followed a mushroom lunch at her Leongatha home last year.

Criminal defence lawyer Celine Khoury reveals next step in alleged mushroom killer Erin Patterson’s legal battle. Patterson denies any wrongdoing. The incident occurred on July 29 last year, with the charges relating to the death of Patterson’s former in-laws Gail Patterson and Don Patterson, along with Gail’s sister Heather Wilkinson. Heather’s husband, Ian Wilkinson, 70, survived.
