Shoppers have expressed their concern after a woman was injured in a collision with a bus in one of the 'busiest areas of Nottingham'. Emergency services were called to a collision between a bus and a pedestrian shortly after 2pm on Wednesday, November 23 on Upper Parliament Street outside of the Victoria Centre.
Those around the Victoria Centre after the collision expressed their concern. Colin Dejacolyn, 69, a retiree from Radford, said: "I'm shocked to see all the commotion when going out for shop, but I am not surprised it has happened here."This junction is so busy with shoppers going to and from the Victoria Centre and with buses too. It must be the busiest area of Nottingham city centre, so it is going to cause a lot of problems too having this closed.
The accident seriously has disrupted transport in Nottingham city centre. Bus passengers were provided with diversion information by NCT staff and police officers at the scene.
