Star Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill was detained by police Sunday morning entering the team’s stadium for its NFL Week 1 opener against the Jaguars, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told multiple reporters.

ESPN’s Jeff Darlington reports Hill was cited for reckless driving after speeding and got into a verbal altercation with police after being pulled over. He was released after being cited.“It’s very upsetting … to see the way he was treated,” Rosenhaus said during a television interview with NFL Network inside the stadium after the incident.Rosenhaus called the situation “absurd” and said Hill felt like things “got way out of hand,” adding they’d be talking to legal representation.
