Police are becoming 'increasingly concerned' about missing Sophia
An urgent appeal has been issued to help find a missing schoolgirl who was last seen in her uniform at a tram stop near Cheetham Hill.
Sophia, whose age was not given but is described as 'young' was last seen shortly after 3pm on Tuesday near the Abraham Moss tram stop. The schoolgirl, from Wythenshawe, was reportedly wearing her uniform, with a blue jumper and a skirt. She is described as a young girl of a petite build, with shoulder length brown hair.In the appeal, Greater Manchester Police wrote: "Can you help police find a missing girl from Wythenshawe? Sophia was last seen today shortly after 3pm near the Abraham Moss Tram Stop, Cheetham Hill.
