Urgent track repairs have sparked diversions for some trains to Sydney Olympic Park, hours before the NRL grand final.
As the NRLW decider played out on Sunday afternoon at Accor Stadium, Sydney Trains warned some passengers allow up to 30 minutes' extra travel time.
"Due to urgent track repairs at Flemington, Central to Olympic Park services are being diverted to Rhodes," the train operator warned just before 5pm."Olympic Park trains from the West and Lidcombe continue to run."Those heading from Central to Olympic Park were urged to change at Strathfield for a T2 Inner West & Leppington or T1 Western Line service to Lidcombe.
They would then change at Lidcombe for an Olympic Park service leaving from Platform 0 and Platform 1.
