The United States has now recorded more than 200,000 coronavirus fatalities.

Deaths are increasing by approximately 770 per day and experts warn the total figure could almost double by the end of 2020. America has recorded more than 6.

8 million infections and the nation’s death toll has doubled in less than four months with no signs of slowing down as new cases remain at around 35,000 per day. Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden claims lives could have been saved if a mask mandate had been imposed early during the pandemic. Mr Biden said “the virus was too big” for Trump.
