World leaders have taken to social media and online to offer congratulations to Donald Trump. One exception is Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum who said that she will wait to formally recognise a winner until vote tallies are finalised. Trump has repeatedly targeted Mexican migrants throughout his career, heaping insults and racial slurs on them and promising to build a wall to keep them out.
