The political platforms for the November presidential election have been drawn up and former speaker of the house Bronwyn Bishop predicts President Donald Trump’s law and order campaign will run alongside a Democrat-led climate campaign.

Democratic candidate Joe Biden has outlined a $2 trillion climate plan charting the United States on an irreversible path to net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Ms Bishop said President Trump will run for re-election on a police-endorsed law and order platform. In 2019 the International Union of Police Associations formally endorsed the campaign for the re-election of the President Donald Trump.

The President of the Union said “President Trump has done more for law enforcement in the past two and a half years than was accomplished in the eight years that preceded his election. He has even undone some of the harmful acts of his predecessor”. Ms Bishop told Sky News host Chris Smith since the Black Lives Matter protests, the police have come out again in support of Trump while Democrat states have pursued anti-police policies and de-funded law enforcement organisations.
