BREAKING: New intelligence reviewed by U.S. intelligence agencies reportedly indicates that a pro-Ukrainian group was behind the attacks on the Nord Stream naural gas pipelines last year.
The U.S. officials said they do not have evidence that the group was tied to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, or that the perpetrators were acting on the orders of any Ukrainian government officials, the New York Times reported Tuesday.
They declined to disclose additional details about the nature of the intelligence or how it was obtained. Both Nord Stream gas pipelines connecting Russia to Germany were hit by four explosions last September, which Western officials, including in the U.S., had described as an act of"sabotage."
