The US Marine Corps has shared a post to social media showing a helmet sporting a row of rainbow bullets to mark the start of Pride month – a move which has been widely panned online.
“What they’ve done is they’ve basically appropriated the Full Metal Jacket movie poster … to promote the US Marines and Pride month,” Sky News host James Morrow said.
Commenting on the issue, fellow Sky News host Rita Panahi said, “how empowered would you feel if you were shot with one of those rainbow bullets”.
