Limited to only 150 examples, the 722 Edition was built to commemorate Mercedes-Benz famous 1955 Millie Miglia victory. The winning 300SLR race car was numbered 722 and was piloted by Stirling Moss and his co-driver Dennis Jenkinson. The 722 Edition catered for the demands of a 'sportier' SLR with a 44kg weight reduction, a 10mm lower ride height and a power boost to 641bhp.
With it's rivals of the same generation such as the Enzo and Carrera GT taking off in value so considerably, the SLR McLaren currently represents excellent value.
