Fleet Week 2023 kicked off with the arrival of the amphibious warship USS Wasp in New York City. Navy sailors and Marines shared details of serving on an 843-foot vessel with military capabilities.

It’s sometimes nerve-wracking, especially pulling into New York."Forster, with the Amphibious Warship Industrial Base Coalition, echoed that the mere scale of the Wasp pulling into New York City brings great national pride.
