The Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua rematch looks set to take place in Saudi Arabia after a reported bid of $120million was made to host the heavyweight clash.
This would be the second time that Joshua will have fought in Saudi Arabia, having beaten Andy Ruiz Jr in Diriyah in their rematch in 2019, but this latest reported site fee eclipses the $80 million paid for that.
His promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, told Sky Sports yesterday: “This location is under discussion at the moment. Many things will depend on how fast we manage to ink the papers.
The first fight between Joshua and Usyk took place at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in September last year and it was Usyk who emerged victorious, putting on a boxing masterclass to win by unanimous decision.
