Utah women's volleyball swept NC State 3-0 in the Utah Valley Invitational.
OREM — The Utah Utes women's volleyball team took down North Carolina State in a three-set sweep Saturday afternoon.
The two teams entered Saturday's match with opposite results from the previous day, with Utah falling to Utah Valley. All hopes of redemption for the Utes came true as they took down NC State in three sets 26-24, 25-22, 25-18. The second set had a similar feel as Utah started with a quick 2 points on the Wolfpack, but that switched quickly as NC State took the reigns of the game into their own hands with a 15-11 lead over Utah. Once again, with the game tied 17-17, the Utes took their second set 25-22.
