'Tis the season! With many heading to the pool, lake, and the beach to beat the summer heat, here's a breakdown of what the UV Index value is and how to keep your skin protected.
• If you burn easily, consider using an SPF 30+ sunscreen• Consider wearing a hat and sunglasses if planning on being out in the sunHigh risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure -- protection is needed!• Wear a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and at least an SPF 30+ sunscreen• Take frequent breaks in the shade, especially if outside between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
