The parents of children killed at Robb Elementary on Tuesday united once again, still fighting for accountability. The mass shooting took place four months ago, on May 24.
PUBLISHED 10:33 PM CDT Sep. 27, 2022UVALDE, Texas — Once again, the parents of the kids killed at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, are demanding accountability from all levels of government.
Lee traveled to Uvalde to hear from those affected in hopes of pushing forward the federal response to this tragedy. Parents shared how the shooting is still impacting them, many unable to work while dealing with the mental strain.

Congressional representatives hold listening session for families of Robb victims, survivorsU.S. Reps. Joaquin Castro and Sheila Jackson Lee held a listening session in Uvalde on Monday afternoon, where families of the Uvalde victims and survivors shared their stories. Robb Elementary teacher Arnulfo Reyes and state Sen. Roland Gutierrez also spoke during the listening session. Those who spoke wanted to know how Congress could help and what could be done to prevent a similar tragedy. Several parents have called for gun reform in the wake of the shooting.
