ARL Commission chairman Peter V'landys has apologised and admitted there's been a level of "miscommunication" after anwill push ahead with a May 28
resumption date, but mystery remains over the structure of the competition with league headquarters yet to receive final approvals from the government. V'landys told Nine's NRL reporter Danny Weidler the game was aware of the level of miscommunication with the free-to-air broadcaster. "Absolutely, there's been miscommunication and Channel Nine feel that they haven't been part of the process, absolutely," V'landys said.The chairman admitted the NRL's cost structure was a cause for concern.
"There's no doubt that the cost structure that's in place for the game at the moment is unsustainable, that is accurate," he said.The comments from V'landys follows the below statement released today by the Nine Network.
