Longtime Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett defended Joe Biden as 'extraordinarily demonstrative to both men and women alike' after two women accused the former vice president of touching them in ways that made them uncomfortable
Jarrett praised Biden’s initial response, saying he “got it right over the weekend when he said it’s important that men listen,” according to NPR.Former national security adviser Susan Rice, in a series of tweets Monday evening, said she personally never found Biden‘s “actions inappropriate or uncomfortable,“ adding that she had “always appreciated his kindness and warmth.“
Jarrett did not say whether the new allegations disqualified Biden from running for president. Instead, Jarrett said voters would be able decide at the polls.
