Having just dominated Brian Mendoza to earn a unanimous 116-111, 116-112, 117-111 victory, he turned his attention to the former undisputed super-welterweight world champion.It’s a dig at Charlo, who avoided a mandatory undisputed title defence against Tszyu to take the money fight against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. With this latest victory, the third this year and the 24th of his undefeated career, Tszyu is now approaching the same stratosphere as Terence Crawford, Errol Spence jnr and Alvarez.
Should all the planets align, it will be in Las Vegas in March, as part of an Australian sporting feast when the NRL launches an historic double-header to open the 2024 season at Allegiant Stadium.Tszyu, a South Sydney fan who is close mates with Rabbitohs stars Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker, had this message for ARLC chairman Peter V’landys.“It’s not for me, it’s more for the people, to go over and watch the rugby.
