Victoria has recorded an increase in daily coronavirus infections with 73 new confirmed cases.
The figure was up from a slight drop on Tuesday, with nine of the new cases linked to known outbreaks.
In addition to this, 42 cases are under investigation, but it is not publicly known where all of the new cases are. Premier Daniel Andrews said the vast majority are in the 10 hotpot postcodes, but there are still COVID-19 cases popping up elsewhere in Melbourne.
