The border lockdown will be enforced on the New South Wales side, allowing Victoria to free up resources to fight the breakout across its state. Many staff currently being employed or deployed to take temperatures and other coordination work at locations such as Victorian airports and train stations can potentially be redeployed into other more important roles.The short answer is yes.
