Police are accusing the Point Cook man of being in illegal possession of a samurai sword and a knuckle duster, and failing to safely secure an air rifle. Mr Miller is accused of setting fire to a house in Laverton belonging to his girlfriend, Simone Kristy Azzopardi, on March 27 this year.In the months after the blaze, police allege, Mr Miller helped Ms Azzopardi, 42, try and claim more than $400,000 in home and contents insurance.
