Victoria has notched up another 13,755 Covid infections and 15 deaths as the number of hospitalisations remained stable.
There are now 1057 infected people in Victorian hospitals, with 117 in intensive care and 40 on ventilators.

A total of 6130 PCR tests were taken on Wednesday and 16,979 vaccines were administered at state hubs. However, Victorian health Minister Martin Foley on Tuesday said there would be a rise in cases once school returned, despite cases being on a downward trend in recent days.“We just want to make sure the community is aware and prepared and more importantly, as we come to deal with how we coexist with Covid, that we all understand the different options, should Covid come our way.”
