Victoria's sixth lockdown is set to extend after recording 92 COVID-19 cases in the community on Sunday.
During Saturday's press conference, Health Minister Martin Foley was asked whether keeping Victoria in lockdown was becoming harder due to"signs of hope" NSW was looking to relax its lockdown measures."I’m not sure hospitals with hundreds of people in acutely unwell conditions in a hospital system that is getting increasingly stretched...
"I’m pretty sure if you ask those intensive care nurses in Sydney hospitals at the moment, it wouldn’t be a rosy picture. We are not going to put our health system under that sort of stress and strain."
