Vic Education Minister James Merlino has confirmed the state's education regulator will investigate St Kevin’s College over its management of child abuse risks following last night's damning Four Corners program
Victoria's education regulator will investigate whether St Kevin's College in Toorak breached state standards for managing risks around child abuse.
The decision was made following reports a long-time volunteer athletics coach was convicted of grooming a then 15-year-old student at the elite all-boys school in 2015. The VRQA's announcement followed an ABC Four Corner's investigation into the matter and the culture at St Kevin's College which aired on Monday night.Australian Broadcasting Corporation/Four Corners
