“Steve Bracks came back from a margin that was greater. Ted Baillieu came back from a margin that was greater.Meanwhile, Andrews said Labor’s proposed free kinder, free TAFE and return of government ownership of the State Electricity Commission would benefit all Victorians.
“Now is the time for Labor’s positive and optimistic plan for free Kinder, free TAFE, more nurses, more ambos - but also and perhaps most importantly, if you don’t like your energy company, vote Labor.The premier broke with tradition to cast his ballot early on Thursday evening, voting outside his electorate of Mulgrave alongside wife Catherine and two of his children.
Labor leads the Coalition 54.5 per cent to 45.5 per cent on a two-party preferred basis, according to the poll published by The Australian.

Victorians have headed out to the polling booths today to cast their ballot in the state election. “I think the mood is very different. I think it’s very different, I know it's very different, and I can tell it's very different,” he said. Mr Guy said Victorians are genuinely looking for an answer to the “woes” of the state’s health system. “I know Victorians are looking for that answer, and hopefully we get a majority of that tonight,” he said.
