She received a phone call telling her she might want to check again. 9News

A Victorian retiree who was bitterly disappointed after her lottery ticket missed the division one prize by one number then received a phone call telling her she might want to check again.

The Mornington Peninsula woman, aged in her 60s, bought one of the seven division one winning entries in the weekend TattsLotto draw, with each winner taking home a division one prize of $574,330.46. A TattsLotto official called the woman this morning, but she initially refused to believe she had won division one.

“I checked my ticket on the internet yesterday. I was just one number off getting division one – I was spewing!” she declared. “I don’t think it was me. I don’t believe you,” she added when the official tried to convince her of her good fortune.“Oh sh**! I have won! Oh f***! Oh sorry!” she screamed.
