Victorian parents have received a letter from schools asking all students over a certain age to wear masks indoors and on public transport as the government refuses to implement mask mandates.
A letter signed by the heads of the state and independent and catholic schools advised students over the age of eight and all staff to wear masks indoors and on public transport.

This action will help make sure as many students and staff as possible are protected from COVID and other winter illness," it read.
