A video has captured the terrifying moment a giant shark jumped aboard a boat, slammed its tail into the windscreen and thrashed wildly about on deck, narrowly missing the astonished skipper.
“We were fighting it and it was jumping around. I told the customers if it jumps in the boat get out of the way.The 20-year fishing veteran said he began getting worried he may have to intervene and help the wildly flailing shark get back into the water.
But luckily it managed to wriggle free and everyone on board was just grateful that it did not land at the back where all the customers were. “He got away safe. There’s nothing much we could do. We can’t go up the front to go near it because they go absolutely bonkers,” Mr Churches said. "He went absolutely bonkers again and pushed himself through the bow rail and slid back into the water. “I was trying to figure out ways of how to get it off if it didn’t slide off. I was thinking what the f*** do we do? But it all worked out.”
