Vivica A. Fox reprises her Kill Bill role as Vernita 'Copperhead' Green in SZA's new Tarantino-inspired music video for her song of the same name.
In a new music video for SZA's song "Kill Bill," Vivica A. Fox reprises her role from the film of the same name. Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, the movie Kill Bill tells the story of Beatrix "The Bride" Kiddo , a woman on a revenge quest against her former lover and boss. Beatrix's first depicted kill in the film is of her old assassin colleague, Fox's Vernita "Copperhead" Green, a member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad.

Check out the video below: With lyrics depicting a similar story of love lost and violent revenge, the R&B singer embarks on her own quest to kill her former lover. The Christian Breslauer-directed music video pays homage to the popular Tarantino film with its imagery, including a recreation of Bud's desert trailer, SZA donning a red jumpsuit that bears a resemblance to Beatrix's yellow Bruce Lee-inspired apparel, and a violent animated sequence.
While a guest on Joe Rogan's podcast in 2021, the director entertained the idea of continuing Kill Bill's story with a focus on Beatrix's daughter, BB. If he chooses to make a sequel, Tarantino wishes to cast Thurman's daughter, Maya Hawke, as BB. Hawke responded that she would love to work with Tarantino but has no information if the film will ever be made.
One popular sequel idea that both Tarantino and fans have entertained revolves around the return of Vernita's daughter. In the Kill Bill fight scene, Beatrix takes on Vernita at her home, tearing apart the house in a ferocious martial arts sequence. The fight is interrupted by Vernita's daughter, Nikkia Bell, returning home from school, but it ends with Vernita's death.
