Voters are set to be presented with a misleading ballot paper for the Voice Referendum which “emphasises constitutional recognition” but fails to state the ability to make representations to a government, according to Barrister Paul Jeffreys. “The question as it stands, it misleadingly emphasises constitutional recognition, which is part of the question,” Mr Jeffreys told Sky News host Amanda Stoker. “But it hides the detail of what the bill really says and what the purpose of the Voice really is.”
