Independent MP Sophie Scamps says the debate surrounding the Voice to Parliament is “just getting kicked off”, hence why the support for the Yes vote lost more support.
“As Australians get more and more information about what it actually means, what the Voice is that those numbers will most likely turn around,” she told Sky News Australia.
“I think it’s a wonderful opportunity for Australia to really look to what our relationship with First Nations people can be like into the future and how we can do better.”
