Country Liberal Party Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price says the Voice referendum is “already proving” to be “divisive” following Julian Leeser’s decision to resign from the Liberal Party’s frontbench to support the Voice.
“I respect Julian for the decision that he’s made; I am slightly disappointed obviously,” Ms Price told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “I think this is quite a divisive referendum it’s already proving to be so, it’s dividing up the country; it’s starting to get nasty.”
