Dean Parkin says Voice supporters are undeterred by the Coalition's decision to oppose the referendum and remain optimistic there's enough time to shift public opinion before Australians cast their votes later this year.

The position all but eliminated any hope of bipartisan support for the Voice, which has historically been a prerequisite for a successful constitutional change.

“The Yes campaign hasn’t fully ramped up its effort yet, we’re just in the process of getting ready to make some very loud noises," Mr Parkin said on Friday. Mr Parkin said Voice advocates have not been discouraged by the Coalition's announcement as it only reflected"a very small sub-set of the Liberal Party".

As the Liberal Party announced its resounding"no" position on Wednesday Mr Dutton confirmed they will also actively campaign against the Voice.
